Well projects

Why are we engaged in the construction of wells?

According to current statistics, nearly two billion people worldwide still suffer from a lack of clean water. In various parts of the world and even in some Western regions, people do not have access to drinking water, thus shortening people's lives and causing serious health problems. Especially in Africa and Asia, people have to walk miles to find the hard-to-reach source of life. Our association builds wells to provide people with clear and clean water. Our projects are built and opened in cooperation with sister organizations in countries and regions where these wells are urgently needed, under the direction of experts.

How long does it take to build a well?

The opening of a well can take four to eight months.

What are the costs?

The construction cost of a well varies from country to country and also depends on the depth of the well, the type of pump, the generator and the washing point.

Can I give a well a name of my choice?

The donor can give any name.

How many years of warranty are provided on the manufactured wells?

Well Water for Life will cover all damages and repair costs during the five-year warranty period.

Can I also give a small donation for the well?

You can pay the total cost of a well in one donation or pay it in rates. But you can also transfer (arbitrarily small) contributions, which we collect together with other donations in a donation pot, in order to have new wells built from it again.

Will I also receive reports about the construction of the well?

The well will be photographed and filmed during and after construction and this documentation will be sent to the donor's postal address after completion - together with the technical description of the project.
