The country borders on the three largest lakes in Africa and is crisscrossed by many rivers. However, due to the lack of infrastructure, which is hardly developed, Tanzania also suffers from water shortage. Only 37% of the rural population has access to clean drinking water, and more than half of the people have no other option but to drink polluted water. Contaminated water is the main cause for the transmission of diseases such as diarrhea and cholera. As part of our project, we can construct a water well with a depth of at least 16 meters and the capacity to meet the water needs of at least 40 families on your behalf. One well for Tanzania costs 2200 Euro.
